Registration now open to all California Community College students for CCCAA Fall 2021 Esports Tournament

SACRAMENTO - Registration is now open for the first CCCAA Fall 2021 Esports Tournament, scheduled to begin on Dec. 6! The event is open to any individual with a California Community College email address and is free to play with a total of $1,000 in prize money at stake.

Competitors will be playing Soccar with the Rocket League game title, starting first against competitors from their same region (either NorCal or SoCal) before advancing to the championship round which will have both the semifinals and final broadcast via Twitch. Champions will split $500, $250 will be awarded to the runner-up team and third- and fourth-place teams will split $125 each.

This is the first tournament sponsored by the CCCAA so be sure to sign up with your friends!

The registration deadline is 5 p.m. on Sun., Dec. 5 with the tournament starting on Mon., Dec. 6. The semifinals and final will be held on Wed., Dec. 8.
