San Diego City's Bench Scores 75 Points in 111-61 Home Win Over Orange Coast

San Diego City jumped out to a 15-3 lead and never looked back as they went on to blow out Orange Coast, 111-61, in the home opener to improve to 2-2 on the young season. 

Freshman center Legend Stamps led the Knights with 18 points on 9-for-10 shooting and six rebounds. 

San Diego City's bench came up big with 75 points, including 15 from freshman Drew Cisse, who also added five boards and four blocks. 

Sophomore NaShom Carter added 13 points, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals off the bench. 

Freshman Makiah Morris contributed 12 points and seven rebounds, while sophomore Victor Irhirhi added 12 points and six boards, both off the bench. 

Freshman Dominic Hovasse was the sixth Knight in double figures as he put in 11 points to go with four rebounds. 

The Knights were sloppy with the ball as they turned the ball over 26 times, but they took advantage of Orange Coast's 35 turnovers by converting them into 50 points. City shot 58.3% and had 28 assists on 42 made field goals. 

Myles Woods led Orange Coast with 18 points off the bench and starter Andres Ortega added 12 points and four rebounds. 

San Diego City will play Fresno City on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the second day of the Knights' Invitational. Orange Coast will play Barstow at 1 p.m. on Saturday and the day will conclude with a matchup between Citrus and Saddleback at 5 p.m.
