State Final Rankings: Cabrillo at No. 1 and Irvine Valley at No. 2 finish with undefeated regular seasons. Big 8 champion American River moves up to No. 3 with PCAC co-champions Grossmont in 4 and SD Mesa in 5. San Joaquin Delta's strong 8-4 record v. top 25 teams moves it to No. 7. El Camino and Cypress each move into the top 10 at Nos. 9 and 10, respectively.

State Rankings No. 9: A new state No. 1 team emerges in undefeated Cabrillo (22-0) while Irvine Valley (17-0) takes over the No. 2 spot as the only SoCal undefeated team. Upset by rival San Diego Mesa (now No. 5), Grossmont falls to No. 3 after a 7-week stretch at No. 1. American River is No. 4 while Fresno City is at No. 6.

STATE POLL NO. 8: SoCal's Grossmont and NorCal's Cabrillo continue to be the top 2 teams in the state, Irvine Valley is at No. 3; American River at No. 4; Fresno City enters the Top 5. Santa Barbara City moves up the charts to No. 7. Feather River, San Joaquin Delta move into the top 10.
Upsets of the Week: Cypress sweeps Golden West; Modesto beats Sierra in 4; Mt. San Jacinto upends Palomar in 5
Net Efforts of the Week: Long Beach comes back from 2-0 down and loses in 5 to Pasadena; SJ Delta goes 5 in epic match v. American River; Porterville falls 2 points short in another rivalry thriller 5-set match in loss to Fresno City.

STATE POLL NO. 7: Grossmont continues at No. 1 in state rankings, followed by top NorCal Cabrillo at No. 2. Irvine Valley moved to No. 3 and stays undefeated, knocking off previously undefeated Golden West, now at No. 4. American River remains at No. 5. Fresno City slides into No. 6 spot.

STATE POLL NO. 6: Grossmont (19-0 v. California teams) stays on top of the state poll as only three undefeated teams remain with No. 6 Fullerton losing to still unbeaten No. 3 Golden West. No. 2 and North tops Cabrillo and No. 4 Irvine Valley are the other undefeated squads. American River moves into the top 5.

STATE POLL NO. 5: There are no changes in the Top 5 as Grossmont continues at No. 1. NorCal 1 and state No. 2 Cabrillo, No. 3 Golden West, No. 4 Fullerton, and No. 5 Irvine Valley remain as the only undefeated teams left in California. Three-time defending state champ LA Pierce climbs back into the Top 10 at No. 10.

STATE POLL NO. 4: Grossmont, 15-0 v. state teams, stays on top of the rankings. Cabrillo at 11-0 remains class of the North at No. 2. Three undefeated Orange Empire teams are 3,4,5 in Golden West, Fullerton, and Irvine Valley. Another undefeated OEC school is No. 8 in Orange Coast.

STATE POLL NO. 3: Grossmont finishes runner-up at San Diego Mesa Tournament to Glendale (Arizona) and remains the top-ranked team at 12-2, but 12-0 v. California teams. Cabrillo continues to stay at No. 2 as the class of the North. Golden West comes in at 3, while Fullerton and San Diego Mesa round out the top 5.

STATE POLL NO. 2: Grossmont College on a 9-match win streak is the new No. 1 team in the state, followed by new NorCal top region team and Delta Classic champion Cabrillo, then Irvine Valley at No. 3, Santa Barbara City in No. 4, and San Joaquin Delta at No. 5.
