Highlights: Sophomore Teddy Sutton gave up a lead-off homer to Will Durazo but only yielded four more hits the rest of the way, walking none and striking out 7 to more than make up for some spotty Riverside defense. Ryan Harvey had a pair of two-run triples, capping big innings in the fifth and sixth, and Lachlan Thornburn had a bases-loaded double in the seventh as RCC cruised over the pitcher-short Huskies. Tourney MVP Ryan Rasmussen also knocked in 3 runs as Tigers capture first-ever state baseball championship. RCC outscored its opposition, 60-4, in its three victories.

Highlights: East Los Angeles scored the winning run in the bottom of the 10th to force a final game when RCC catcher Lachlan Thorburn's throw attempting to nab ELAC's Rick Sandoval stealing third base went into left field, allowing Sandoval to score the winning run and ending this 4-hour, 38-minute marathon. Riverside had rallied from a 7-1 deficit to tie the score at 7-7, then needed two in the ninth to tie the game again at 9-9. The Tigers held a 10-9 lead going into the last of the 10th on Tony Schuler's RBI double. But the Huskies got their lead-off man on via an error, followed by Sandoval's bunt single and Armando Mojica's run-scoring single, setting up Sandoval's steal of third base.

Highlights: Tigers sent 22 batters to the plate in 5th inning explosion, sophomore outfielder Antoine Cameron getting three hits (single, double, homer) and knocking in five runs. Freshman lefty Derrick Van Dusen scattered five hits over eight innings, walked one, fanned 10. Within one victory of school's first-ever state baseball championship, RCC has outscored opponents 44-3 in first two games.
