Cypress College wins the 2013 CCCAA Baseball State Championship with a 10-3 win over Fullerton College. With this win Cypress earns their fifth baseball State title in school history and their first since 2003. Championship Game Recap

Cypress' catcher, Tyler Schultz, earns championship tournament MVP honors hitting 7 for 13 at the plate, with a .538 over the weekend, while catching all three Cypress Charger games.

View news article PALOMAR WINS 4TH STATE CHAMPIONSHIP IN PROGRAM HISTORY-5/19/2013 -
Palomar College won their fourth California Community College Athletic Association State Championship on Sunday afternoon, and their first since 2000. Riverside won Sunday morning's game to force a game 7 in the double elimination tournament, but Palomar held strong and took the State championship by defeating Riverside in the final game, 7-2.

Palomar's Carlie Daniel took tournament MVP honors.

View news article RIVERSIDE MEN, CERRITOS WOMEN WIN STATE TITLES-5/18/2013 -
The Riverside City College men and Cerritos College women win the 2013 CCCAA Track & Field State Championships. For the Riverside men, this is their second consecutive track & field State championship and fifth in the last six years. They finished with a final of 151 points, beating out second place Mt. San Antonio (60) by 91 points.

On the women's side, this is Cerritos' first State track & field title since 2009. They finished with 91 points while defending champions, Laney College, earned second with 81.

View news article CANYONS' MEN'S GOLF WINS STATE-5/13/2013 -
College of the Canyons (723) comes back from third place after the first 18 holes, to win the CCCAA Men's Golf State Championship, their third in the last eight years. Finishing in a close second at the Rancho Canada Golf Club was Orange Coast College, posting a 726 and Santa Rosa earned third with a 734.

In individual competition, Reedley College's Jacob Ruffino earned the State title with a five under par, 137. He was one of five players to finish the 36 hole championship under par.
